F.A.Q about Parrot care, mainly lovebirds.Why do we have to clip our bird's wings and nails? Does it hurt them?

It's not the meaty wings that we cut, but the flight feathers. For lovebirds, the best to cut are the outer five on each each wing, half way too. The birds will still be able to take off the ground and glide across about 1 meter but can't continuously airborne, they can also glide down to land safely. Birds are easily to get surprised & fly away in terror, even a tamed one. They can crash the mirror, get into your soup, toilet... it's more cruel that way. I like amigurumi (crochet) craft but I don't think I can make one myself... I'm cursed with needle work and its like. So if you can make amigurumi, I really want to have an art trade with you...!

The ideal of the doll size will be about 5 to 6 cm height. Is it possible? I'll review your amigurumi portfolio first. You don't need to have the right lovebird amigurumi in your gallery, I just want to see your over all style and skill.

I'll trade:
1 doll for 1 ACEO original (not printed) card.
2 dolls for 1 simple animated DA icon.
3 dolls for 1 A5 size traditional drawing.
6 dolls for 1 A4 size traditional drawing, or 1 character/animal digital painting (headshot) on a mug template (300 dpi jpg file, big enough to be printed on a mug).
NOTE:
All traditional arts will be done with pencil colors, like this: [link] All subject/models must be: human/humanoid/anthro girls (semi realism), animals (realism/cartoon), or flowers (realism). Background must be nature related, or just simple abstract color.

I need 6 amigurumi lovebird dolls that represents my current birds: Pico [link] Pence [link] Papao [link] Peewee [link] Pocky: [link] and Pippin [link] I'll help you with the color reference. Because, except for Pico who is a basic turquoise personata, the others have their own unique feather color combination. If it's possible I want Pippin tail to sway to the right side a little. She has been like that (handicapped) since in the hand of her breeder.

If this goes well, I might consider to get dolls for my passed away pets too, including the 3 hammies and my (still alive) dog, Corel. Thanks for your interest. Those dolls will mean a lot to me, I know I'll treasure them forever... (might not want to use them for keychains, lol)
