When they are trying to mate, the female one will spread her wings and the male will try to mount her. But that's not 100% guarantee, DNA test is the best choice for exact result
Lovebirds are sexually monomorphic which means that the male and the female of the species look alike with the exception of Abyssinian Lovebirds, the Madagascar Lovebird and the Red-faced Lovebird.
