All animals are noisy except for fishes and reptiles perhaps. Well, maybe when you live on your own one day, you can have your own bird. Birds live a long life, so you might consider if you can still be with them 15-90 years later
Cockatiels make great pets! I own a tiel named Peter, and he's 18-weeks old. I found out they can learn very quickly! They are also not too big -- easier to manage. You can find them in any colors, and a range of personalities (which they all have!). Just a side note, they can be very bad for allergies, because they create "dust clouds" when preening. Just a heads up on that. Besides all this, if you decide to get a bird, make sure it's the right one for you! Good luck, and I hope you eventually get a bird as a pet!
Yes, but not for long. I still need to keep tickling her head. If I stop to take a pic like this, 2 seconds later, she'll open her eyes and use telepathy to tell me, "Who said you could stop? Continue tickling now or I'll get back on my feet again!"
