Milk and Bottle cap by emmil Milk and Bottle cap by emmil
I use drinking water bottle caps now for giving my hamsters milk, no more using spoons like before: [link] This way I can safely put the caps in the cage without worrying the milk will spill... :aww: :heart:

I don't have any :( I had two hamsters, but not at the same time. My first hammy was called Speedy (he was a greyish colour), and I called him Speedy because he was really, really fast (well, duh, right?) ^ ^;

My second hammy I initially called Hamagotchi *coughs sheepishly*, but then changed "her" name to Fluffagotchi when her hair grew to ridiculous proportions. I say "her" because there was an amusing story surrounding her gender ^ ^; I have no idea what breeds they were ^ ^, but Fluff (for short) lived to be about four years old ^ ^;

hmm... the first one was a russian dwarf (smaller than the second hammie) and the second one was a long hair teddy bear hamster. ^^

My god, you're probably right ^ ^; What are you, a living encyclopaedia of hammies? ^ ^

It's a pity I can't check for sure, but the only photos I have of them are Gameboy Camera photos (which kinda shows how long ago this all was) ^ ^;

Hamsters are actually lactose intolerant. I would sometimes give my teddy bear hamster frozen yogurt and i can't give it to her anymore because i found out they aren't suppose to have that kind of stuff. :(

My vet said once in a while, just a few drops, won't hurt, unless the animals are allergic with milk or not healthy. It's like us eating burgers & chips. Junk food for a treat is fine as long as the amount is considerable... ;)

Okay! And when I gave my hamster frozen yogurt it was only once in a great while, and it would only be a very little amount. My vet (who isn't all that, and I don't really like them) said to not even give my hamster anything at all that was dairy except for those yogurt drops made me hamsters but only give it to her in moderation.
