Bird owners' saying: If we can't bring the birds to the park, we'll bring the trees (or just a little part of it) to the cage!

Snapped a pine branch yesterday, cleaned it, dried it and put it in my bird colony cage. And now they hold a contest of who'll be the 1st one that can make the branch bald of its leaves! Check the video here: [link]

As long as the leaves and wood are not poisonous, I think other trees are ok. I've read that most fruit trees are OK...

I will have to look into this. I usually give my birds some of my leftover yarn to play with but I'm always worried they will get tangled and strangle themselves. So I have to keep a close watch. -_- Sometimes, I give them those cardboard toilet paper rolls, but they lose interest fast. oy vey. They have such short attention spans.
