More about lovebird behavior. These pics show how they defend the territory border in the cage. There are only 2 males in the cage so half of the cage belongs to Pipo's gang (Papao, Pippin) and the other side is Pence's territory which allows Pico and Peewee... Since Pence has lost Princess last year and fail to recruits Papao into his lair, he's been eying Peewee to fill his mistress position. The fact that he and his wife let Peewee come close and eat together is a sign that he's preparing Peewee to be his gang member.

Pipo has grown more confident since he has Papao in his team. Before, he was very timid and stoic but now he can challenge Pence if he's making a move on Papao or if Pipo's tried to seduce Pico.

Papao is about 80-90% big of her mom's size, thus she's been showing more rebelling attitude and try to challenge her mom's position as the queen alpha in the colony. If I give only 1 nest box in the cage, I'm sure they'll fight day & night 24/7 over it.

What about Pocky? Pocky is no body's child. She still plays with Peewee sometimes but lately she's been avoiding and attacking her. She is upset with Peewee because Peewee has been trying to hump her. Pocky has the lowest rank in the colony and Peewee has moved 1 rank up over Pippin. The higher rank can always bully the lower ranks. The top boss is Pico, then Papao, Pence, Pipo, Peewee, Pippin and Pocky.

I wonder if Pippin gets jealous of Papao when she and Pipo are flirting? Because it seems he doesn't "play" with her as intensely if ya know what I mean.

Also, is it possible that Peewee is a male? And poor Pocky.

Everything is possible with lovebirds

Pippin still has her time alone with Pipo. They are really like humans, ya know. 1 night Pipo sleeps with Pippin while Papao sleeps alone, the next night it's the other way around. Sometimes but rare, the 3 of them sleep together
