NaNoWriMo - Prologue -Harsh was the wind blowing through the City. It tore the leaves away from the branches, took them far into the depths of alleys and streets, grabbed tattered paper and clashed it against the rough surface of the bridge that lead over a broad, agitated river. Some animals, mostly cats and mice, hasted from one place to another as if they were fleeing from the deafening sound of the water. Why Dakota Should Rule YouWarning- Odd Content Ahead.  May not make sense. (But it does to me)   Persuasive Essay.

The world today is a mess. With the wars going on, the starvation growing, and the economy failing, it's a wonder we haven't blown ourselves up yet.  I blame the leaders. These people are supposed to be looking out for us, but it seems to me that they're not doing a very good job. I have the perfect solution: hand the world over to my dog, Dakota.

Dakota is the perfect candidate for this demanding task. She's a people person (dog) and loves everyone. Everyone loves her. (And if they don't, they better start- or else.) She cares about Rain and Storm                                Rain and Storm

It was before dawn in a valley of mist and somewhere, on the higher parts of the valley, there was a house all by its lonesome. A long road snaked around the valley to a city, where the sky is high. The lonesome house watched over this city, hidden by the trees and the sheer distance.

Inside this house lived a man, a carpenter, all by himself. There, he sat, thinking to himself in a mix of deep despair and a little bit of happiness. Leap of Faith

A Market Place!

No, it has nothing to do with photos of a market irl, or anything with literal meaning like that. This feature consists of 4 different sections which will let you mingle more among the awesome deviants that you might have or haven't known. Let me elaborate more below:

1.) The Critique Corner.
I believe there are some of you who enjoy getting constructive feedback (not praises, not insults either) and there are some others who love spending their time giving such feedback. So here I am providing the 1st section of this news as a mixing pot for these 2 groups of people to meet.

What you need to do:
Write me a note with the thumb code of your deviation that you like to get constructive critiques.
Write "Critique Corner" as your note TITTLE, else, it won't be read.
It could be any art from different kind of form, media & style. Poems, Cakes, drawings, whatever, as long as there's a category that DA provides here.
Write what you want to hear from your critics. Be specific. If it's a painting, you could write something like: "I get stuck with the light & shadow here. It still feels flat but I don't know which part is wrong and how should I fix it."
To prevent people abuse this section as a short cut to just show off any random image. I'll do a little selection. Your description in the previous point will help me decide if you really need a feedback or not.
You can suggest up to 2 deviations in 1 note, and only 1 note per person in 1 month.
Only 3 deviations get chosen for each news feature. If your deviation doesn't appear on the next news feature, it might be hold for the next news, or if on the next news you still don't see it there, it's simply not chosen for a reason, no hard feelings. Work on a better one & suggest it to me again.

2.) The Sale Corner.
This part of my news is dedicated for people who like to sell their art works.

What you need to do:

Write me a note with the thumb code of your deviation that you like to sell.
Write "Sale Corner" as your note TITTLE, else, it won't be read.
It could be a painting, an artisan craft, a photo, etc.
Give me a few line descriptions about what it is (the size, media, etc) & how much is its price in USD.
You can suggest up to 2 deviations in 1 note, and only 1 note per person in 1 month.
Maximum 10 deviations get chosen for each news feature. If your deviation doesn't appear on the next news feature, it might be hold for the next news, or if on the next news you still don't see it there, it's simply not chosen for a reason, no hard feelings. Work on a better one & suggest it to me again.

3.) Self Promotion Corner.
A special corner which is dedicated to just one artist/writer who likes to gain more exposure on his/her works.

What you need to do:

Write me a note with "Self Promotion Corner" as your note TITTLE, else, it won't be read.
Write a few lines about you, your arts & your commission price list (link to your journal), plus 3 thumbnails of your favorite works that can represent your skill best.
Mature content works are allowed.

4.) The Thumb Feature Corner.

They will be divided into 3 sections:

Traditional Works: (traditional drawings/paintings & Artisan Crafts)

Eva today -->>
Thanks alot for all your support for Eva. The new medicine works. She has stop scratching, her back skin color has turned darker and then new hairs start to grow there. Not much progress with the bumb on her left eye lid. Even though the vet said it's not dangerous (just an excess fat), but once the hair has fully grown back like before, I'll focus on how to "cure" the bump.

Many thanks for who has donated $20 for Eva. I'll use the money to buy her sand bedding or maybe a better one like corn cob/xeolite, if the petshops here sell it.
